Notice of Call for Nominations May 6, 2025 Election
NOTICE OF A CALL FOR NOMINATIONS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that an election will be held on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. At that time, three (3) directors will be elected to serve 4-year terms. Eligible electors of the Lake Creek Metropolitan District interested in serving on the board of directors may obtain a Self-Nomination and Acceptance form from the District’s Designated Election Official (DEO): Matt Farley matt@mwcpaa.com or (970)926-6060 ext. 110, or from the District website https://lakecreekmetro.org/elections.
The deadline to submit a Self-Nomination and Acceptance is close of business (4:30 pm) on Friday, February 28, 2025 (not less than 67 days before the election Earlier submittal is encouraged as the deadline will not permit curing an insufficient form. Affidavit of Intent To Be A Write-In-Candidate forms must be submitted to the office of the designated election official by the close of business (4:30 pm) on Monday, March 3, 2025 (the sixty-fourth day before the election).
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN, an application for an absentee ballot shall be filed with the designated election official no later than the close of business (4:30 pm) on Tuesday preceding the election, April 29, 2025. All absentee ballots must be returned to the Designated Election Official by 7:00 p.m. on election day
