Overview
The District strives to provide high quality water services its property owners and residents in the most economic manner possible. The operating costs are funded by a combination of water user fees and operating property taxes. Fire protection services are provided by the Eagle River Fire Protection District. The District is a quasi-municipal corporation organized and political subdivision of the State of Colorado formed in 1974 in Eagle County, Colorado. It is organized and operated pursuant to provisions set forth in the Colorado Special District Act. The District was established to provide water and fire protection services. The District has no employees and all operations and administrative functions are contracted.
